NBC Sets Premiere Date for Season 6 of 'The Blacklist'

NBC has today announced a premiere date for the upcoming sixth season of the original drama series The Blacklist.







The sixth season will debut on Friday, January 4 at 8/7c. with a special two-hour episode. It will make its regular time slot debut at 9/8c. the following week.

Following the startling revelation that Red isn't who he says he is, Elizabeth is torn between the relationship she's developed with the man assumed to be her father and her desire to get to the bottom of years of secrets and lies. Meanwhile, Red leads Liz and the FBI to some of the most strange and dangerous criminals yet, growing his empire and eliminating rivals in the process. All throughout, Liz and Red engage in an uneasy cat-and-mouse game in which lines will be crossed and the truth will be revealed.

The drama stars James Spader, Megan Boone, Diego Klattenhoff, Amir Arison, Mozhan Marno, Hisham Tawfiq and Harry Lennix.

Jon Bokenkamp created the drama. He executive produces with Spader, John Eisendrath, John Davis, John Fox, Lukas Reiter, J.R. Orci, Carla Kettner and Laura A. Benson. Sony Pictures Television, Universal Television and Davis Entertainment produce.
