The voice cast includes James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, John Boyega, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, Miles Jupp, Daniel Kaluuya, Freddie Fox, Mackenzie Crook, Anne-Marie Duff, Olivia Colman, Peter Capaldi, Rory Kinnear, Lee Ingleby, Craig Parkinson, Jason Watkins, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Daniel Rigby, Tom Wilkinson, Gemma Chan, James Faulkner, Henry Goodman, Taron Egerton, Charlotte Spencer, Rosie Day, Peter Guinness, Lizzie Clark, Luke Neal, Rosamund Pike, Sam Redford, Murray McArthur and Lorraine Bruce.

Tom Bidwell developed the series, which was directed by Noam Murro. Netflix and BBC co-produce with Brown Bag Films.

All 13 episodes of the second season of Alexa & Katie will debut on Wednesday, December 26.

The new episodes follow the indomitable best friends, Alexa and Katie, through their sophomore year of high school. With hair on their heads, Alexa and Katie tackle the challenges of high school and the lingering complications of Alexa's cancer with the comfort of knowing that together, they can get through anything.
