ABC's Grey's Anatomy; Amazon's The Hunt; CBS All Access' The Twilight Zone; DC Universe's Stargirl; and Netflix's Mixtape, Narcos: Mexico & Spinning Out.




NETFLIX's NARCOS: MEXICO
  • Diego Luna and Scoot McNairy have officially signed on to star in the drama's upcoming second season - the fifth overall in the Narcos franchise. Both actors had significant presences in the first season of the drama.
  • Luna plays Miguel Angel Félix Gallardo, the leader of the Guadalajara Cartel and founder of the modern Mexican drug trade.
  • McNairy plays DEA Agent Walt Breslin, who served as the Narrator of the first season but wasn't seen onscreen until the last scene of the season finale.
ABC's GREY'S ANATOMY
  • Jennifer Grey has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's current fifteenth season. She is best known for her starring roles in films Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Dirty Dancing. She also starred for three seasons in Amazon's Red Oaks. Her casting brings her back to ABC after winning Season 11 of Dancing With the Stars.
  • As with most Shondaland casting, no details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
DC UNIVERSE's STARGIRL
  • Lou Ferrigno Jr. has landed a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Brec Bassinger. He currently appears in a recurring role on CBS' S.W.A.T.
  • He will play Rex Tyler, a master chemist and adrenaline junkie. As the hero Hourman, he is a thrill-seeking superhero with the ability to manifest super-strength for one hour a day. A founding member of the Justice Society of America, he struggles with balancing his life as a hero and father.
CBS ALL ACCESS' THE TWILIGHT ZONE
  • Greg Kinnear will star opposite Steven Yeun in an upcoming episode of the anthology series reboot from Jordan Peele. He received an Academy Award nomination for the film As Good as It Gets. He received Emmy nominations for his guest role on ABC's Modern Family and lead role in the Reelz limited series The Kennedys. He currently stars in the sixth and final season of Netflix's House of Cards.
  • No details were immediately announced about the plot or characters of the episode "The Traveler" written by Alex Rubens.
NETFLIX's SPINNING OUT
  • Kaya Scodelario will play the lead role on the upcoming drama created by Samantha Stratton and Lara Olsen. She starred in the Maze Runner film franchise as well as Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. She replaces Emma Roberts in the role after she dropped out due to a scheduling conflict.
  • She will play Kat Baker, an up-and-coming, high-level singles skater who is about to turn in her skates after a disastrous fall took her off the competition track. When Kat seizes an opportunity to continue her career as a pair skater with a talented bad-boy partner, she risks exposing a fiercely kept secret that could unravel her entire life. On and off the ice, Kat and her new partner will face daunting odds, injury to body and soul, financial sacrifice and even potential mental breakdown on their way to realizing their Olympic dream.
AMAZON's THE HUNT
  • Logan Lerman is finalizing a deal to star in the upcoming drama created by David Weil. His film credits include starring roles in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters, Fury and Indignation.
  • He will play Jonah Heidelbaum. When his grandmother is slain by a mysterious intruder in their apartment, he sets out to track the culprit - only to find himself swept up in the mysterious organization known as The Hunt, a group of justice-seeking individuals dedicated to rooting out Nazi war criminals living in the U.S. under assumed identities.
NETFLIX's MIXTAPE
  • Paul James will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Jenna Dewan and Madeleine Stowe. He previously starred for four seasons in ABC Family's Greek and two seasons in Hulu's The Path. He next appears in the National Geographic limited series The Hot Zone.
  • He will play Sam, an aspiring songwriter, secret romantic and young widower who will do anything for his son. The character was played by Raúl Castillo in the original pilot produced for FOX.
