DC Universe Sets Premiere Date for Drama 'Doom Patrol' Starring Timothy Dalton, Matt Bomer and Brendan Fraser

DC Universe has today announced the premiere date for the new original drama series Doom Patrol.

The 13-episode will begin airing weekly episodes on Friday, February 15 on the streaming service.

The Doom Patrol's members each suffered accidents that gave them superhuman abilities - but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence - and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part superhero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them.

The drama stars Timothy Dalton, Matt Bomer, Brendan Fraser, April Bowlby, Diane Guerrero, Joivan Wade and Alan Tudyk.

Jeremy Carver developed the drama based on the DC Comics characters. He executive produces with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Geoff Johns. Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions produce.
