Amazon Announces Premiere Date for Limited Series 'The ABC Murders' Starring John Malkovich

Amazon has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming limited series The ABC Murders starring John Malkovich.

The three-part limited series will be released on Friday, February 1.

Set in the 1930s with the nation dangerously divided with suspicion and hatred on the rise, Hercule Poirot (Malkovich) faces a serial killer known only as A.B.C. First the killer strikes in Andover, then Bexhill. As the murder count rises, the only clue is the copy of The ABC Railway Guide at each crime scene. Poirot's investigations are thwarted at every turn by an enemy determined to outsmart him. If Poirot is to match his nemesis then everything about him will be called into question; his authority, his integrity, his past, his identity.

The cast also features Rupert Grint, Andrew Buchan, Eamon Farren, Tara Fitzgerald, Bronwyn James, Freya Mavor, Shirley Henderson, Kevin McNally, Gregor Fisher, Jack Farthing, Karen Westwood, Lizzy McInnerny, Anya Chalotra, Eve Austin, Christopher Villiers, Suzanne Packer, Michael Shaeffer, Cyril Nri, Henry Goodman, Tamzin Griffin, Ian Pirie, Shane Attwooll and Terenia Edwards

Sarah Phelps wrote the series, which was directed by Alex Gabassi. They executive produce with Damien Timmer, Helen Ziegler, James Prichard, Basi Akpabio and Elizabeth Kilgarriff. Agatha Christie Limited and Mammoth Screen produce.
