  • Katherine Moennig has been cast in a recurring role on the comedy's second season. She has previously starred for six seasons in Showtime's The L Word and six seasons in Showtime's Ray Donovan.
  • She will play Professor Paige Hewson, a CalU Gender Studies teacher who instructs a class in which Zoey (Yara Shahidi) and her friends are enrolled. She is openly lesbian, uber-feminist, confident, yet still self-effacing. She serves as an advisor to the crew, especially Nomi (Emily Arlook), who sees her as someone she can look up and talk to, especially since she hasn't come out to her parents yet.
  • Mary Steenburgen and Drew Tarver have landed recurring roles on the upcoming animated comedy starring Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph. Steenburgen starred for four seasons in FOX's The Last Man on Earth and has recurred on FX's Justified and Netflix's Orange Is the New Black. Tarver currently stars as the male lead in Comedy Central's The Other Two.

  • Tarver will play Randy, the town weirdo.
  • Hong Chau has booked a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Regina King, Don Johnson and Jeremy Irons. She has recently recurred on Amazon's Homecoming, Netflix's BoJack Horseman and Amazon's Forever. She received acclaim for her performance in the film Downsizing.
  • Like with most of the previous casting on the drama based on the comic series, no details were released about the character she will be playing.
  • Jake Busey is set for a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba. The son of actor Gary Busey, he also appears in a recurring role on the upcoming third season of Netflix's Stranger Things.

  • Sarah Shahi is set for a recurring role on the drama's first season. She previously starred for two seasons in Showtime's The L Word, four seasons in CBS' Person of Interest and one season in NBC's Reverie.
  • She will play Jessica Russo, a smart and intense rock star FBI agent who now uses her expertise training others in the private sector. A straight shooter with a subversive sense of humor, she is an expert in hostage negotiations, predictive analysis and profiling - and wrote the definitive book on the subject to prove it.
  • James Lesure has joined the cast of the comedy's upcoming third season in a recurring role. He has recently recurred on NBC's Good Girls, Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, CBS' Blue Bloods and CBS' Salvation.
