Casting News - Cynthia Erivo and Bill Camp to Co-Star on 'The Outsider'; Sherri Saum Joins 'Locke & Key'; Plus 2 More Updates!

ABC's Whiskey Cavalier; HBO's Mrs. Fletcher & The Outsider; and Netflix's Locke & Key.

  • Jasmine Cephas Jones has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Kathryn Hahn. The daughter of actor Ron Cephas Jones, she originated the roles of Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds in the Broadway smash hit Hamilton. She has also had recurred roles on NBC's Midnight, Texas and HBO's Girls.
  • She will play Chloe, an undergraduate who runs a support group for students who have family members with autism.
  • Marika Dominczyk and Christa Miller have landed recurring roles on the upcoming dramedy starring Scott Foley and Lauren Cohan. The wife of star and producer Scott Foley, Dominczyk recently appeared in a recurring role on ABC's Grey's Anatomy. The wife of executive produce Bill Lawrence, Miller starred for six seasons in the ABC/TBS comedy Cougar Town.
  • Dominczyk will play Martyna "Tina" Marek, a sexy and tough-as-nails mercenary who collides with Team Whiskey during a harrowing mission in Eastern Europe. Her arrival fuels romance, rivalry and shifting allegiances, as this charismatic femme fatale rewrites the rules everyone is playing by.
  • Miller will play Kelly Ashland, a close friend of Frankie's (Cohan) family who stepped in after the death of her parents. Now a Federal Judge, the steely and no-nonsense Kelly finds herself embroiled in a crisis that puts her directly in the sights of Team Whiskey.
  • Sherri Saum, Griffin Gluck and Steven Williams have joined the cast of the upcoming drama based on the comic of the same name. Saum previously starred for five seasons in Freeform's The Fosters. Gluck starred for two seasons in Netflix's American Vandal. Williams has recently recurred on Showtime's The Chi and HBO's The Leftovers.
  • Saum will play Ellie Whedon, a teacher at Matheson Academy who has a mysterious history with the Locke family.
  • Gluck will play Gabe, a new boarding student at Matheson Academy who befriends Kinsey Locke (Emilia Jones).
  • Williams will recur as Joe Ridgeway, an esteemed teacher at Matheson Academy who connects with the newly arrived Locke family.
  • Cynthia Erivo, Bill Camp, Mare Winningham, Paddy Considine, Julianne Nicholson, Yul Vazquez, Jeremy Bobb and Marc Menchaca will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Ben Mendelsohn. Furthermore, Hettienne Park and Michael Esper have been cast in recurring roles.
  • Erivo will play Holly Gibney, an investigator who joins Ralph (Mendelsohn) on what seems like an open-and-shut case. Erivo is a Tony and Grammy winner for her performance in the 2015 Broadway revival of The Color Purple. She also starred in the films Widows and Bad Times at the El Royale.
  • Camp will play Howie Gold, a lawyer. Camp's casting reunites him with The Night Of writer Richard Price, who serves as showrunner for the new limited series. Camp received an Emmy nomination for his performance in HBO's The Night Of. He recently starred in the Hulu limited series The Looming Tower.
  • Winningham will play Jeannie Anderson. Winningham is a two-time Emmy winner for the miniseries Amber Waves and George Wallace. She has also received an Academy Award nomination for Georgia and a Tony Award nomination for Casa Valentina.
  • Considine will play Claude Bolton, a witness in the case. Considine currently stars in the Amazon and BBC One drama Informer.
  • Nicholson will play Mercy Maitland, the wife of the accused. Nicholson previously starred for three seasons in USA's Law & Order: Criminal Intent, two seasons in SundanceTV's The Red Road and in the USA limited series Eyewitness.
  • Vazquez will play Yunis Sablo, a state police detective. Vazquez previously starred for two seasons in Starz's Magic City and one season in NBC's Midnight, Texas. He next appears in Netflix's Russian Doll and TNT's I Am the Night.
  • Bobb will play Alec Pelley. Bobb starred for two seasons in Cinemax's The Knick. He has also appeared in a number of recent limited series - including Netflix's Godless, Discovery's Manhunt: Unabomber and Showtime's Escape at Dannemora.
  • Menchaca will play Jack Hoskins, a rival of Ralph's. He is best known for his recurring role on Netflix's Ozark.
  • Park will play Tomika Collins. Park previously starred for two seasons in NBC's Hannibal.
  • Esper will play Bill Samuels. Esper recently starred in the FX limited series Trust.
