Pop Renews 'Hot Date' for Season 2

During its presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, Pop renewed its original comedy series Hot Date for a second season. The new season will produce 10 episodes.

Created by and starring husband and wife comedy duo Emily Axford and Brian K. Murphy, the new season will be set in a new city, New Orleans, and focus on the many eccentricities "The Big Easy" has to offer - from gluttonous bourbon-induced debauchery to haunted Airbnb's and more - while remaining centered on relational comedy. Emily and Murphy are also planning a wedding and must attempt to navigate the various stresses that come with taking their relationship to the next level.

Axford and Murphy executive produce with Will Arnett, Marc Forman, Peter Principato, Joel Zadak, Tucker Voorhees, Brian Steinberg, Bryan Walsh, Drew Buckley, Chris Grant, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Sam Reich, Spencer Griffin and Matthew Pollock. Electus, Artists First, Big Breakfast Productions and Electric Avenue Productions produce.
