CBS Announces Premiere Dates for 'Ransom,' 'The Code' and 'The Red Line'

CBS has today announced premiere dates for the upcoming third season of Ransom as well as the new dramas The Code and The Red Line.







The third season of Ransom will debut on Saturday, February 16 at 8/7c.

The drama follows crisis and hostage negotiator Eric Beaumont and his team as they save lives when no one else can.

Luke Roberts, Nazneen Contractor, Brandon Jay McLaren and Karen LeBlanc star.

Executive producers include Frank Spotnitz, Jennifer Kawaja, Julia Sereny, Jocelyn Hamilton, David Vainola, Daniel Kresmery and György Rajnai. Entertainment One, Korda Studios, Big Light Productions and Sienna Films produce.

New drama The Code will have a special premiere on Tuesday, April 9 at 9/8c. before it moves into its regular Monday time period on April 15 at 9/8c., after Magnum P.I. completes its season order.

The drama centers on the military's brightest minds who take on our country's toughest legal challenges, inside the courtroom and out, in the only law office in the world where every attorney is trained as a prosecutor, a defense lawyer, an investigator and a Marine.

Luke Mitchell, Anna Wood, Ato Essandoh, Phillipa Soo, Raffi Barsoumian and Dana Delany star.

Craig Sweeny and Craig Turk created the drama. They executive produce with Carl Beverly, Sarah Timberman and director Marc Webb. CBS Television Studios and Timberman/Beverly Productions produce.

New drama The Red Line will premiere on Sunday, April 28 at 8/7c., after God Friended Me wraps its first season. The eight-episode season will air across four consecutive Sundays in two-hour blocks.

The drama follows three very different Chicago families as they journey toward hope and healing after a tragedy connects them all.

Noah Wyle, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Noel Fisher, Howard Charles, Aliyah Royale, Michael Patrick Thornton, Vinny Chhibber and Elizabeth Laidlaw star.

Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss created the drama. Parrish executive produces with Ava DuVernay, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Sunil Nayar and Kevin Hooks. Weiss is a co-executive producer. CBS Television Studios, Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions and Forward Movement produce.
