Casting News - Felix Mallard Books Recurring Role on Netflix's 'Locke & Key'; Nicollette Sheridan to Exit The CW's 'Dynasty'

Casting News - February 25, 2019

The CW's Dynasty and Netflix's Locke & Key.

NETFLIX's LOCKE & KEY
  • Felix Mallard has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama based on Joe Hill's comic. He currently stars in CBS' Happy Together, which did not receive a back-nine episode pickup and is unlikely to return for a second season.
  • He will play Lucas Caravaggio, a charming teenager in the town of Matheson whose exposure to magic leads to serious complications.
THE CW's DYNASTY
  • Nicollette Sheridan will be exiting the cast of the drama after one season as a series regular. She joined the drama as family matriarch Alexis Carrington halfway through its first season on a recurring basis. She was upped to series regular for the current second season. Her final appearance will occur in March 2019. Her departure follows the exits of former regulars Nathalie Kelley (as the original Cristal) and James Mackay (as Steven). The drama has already been renewed for a third season.
  • The CW and CBS Television Studios released a joint statement: "Nicollette Sheridan will be leaving Dynasty in order to focus on some personal family responsibilities. She was a valuable asset to the show and we wish her continued success in the future."
