Ahead of its presentation at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, TruTV announced the premiere date for the upcoming original comedy series Tacoma FD co-created by and starring Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme (Super Troopers).
The new comedy will premiere on Thursday, March 28 at 10:30/9:30c. - following the Season 8 premiere of unscripted hit Impractical Jokers.
The comedy is set in a firehouse in one of America's rainiest cities. Light on blazes that need extinguishing, this crew keeps themselves entertained with creative competitions, friendly first responder rivalries and bizarre emergency calls.
In addition to Heffernan and Lemme, the comedy stars Hassie Harrison, Eugene Cordero, Marcus Henderon and Gabriel Hogan.
Guest stars in the first season include Suzy Nakamura, Heather Mazur, Jimmy Tatro, Maria Russell, Jamie Kaler, Paul Soter, JD Pardo, Nat Faxon, Will Sasso, Christopher Neiman, Kevin Pereira and Brian "Q" Quinn.
Heffernan and Lemme executive produce with David Miner, Greg Walter and Kyle Clark. Silverscreen Pictures and 3 Arts Entertainment produce.
