Casting News - Ernie Hudson to Appear on 'Arrow'; 'Fear the Walking Dead' Promotes Alexa Nisenson; Plus 1 More Update!

AMC's Fear the Walking Dead; The CW's Arrow; and TNT's Animal Kingdom.






TNT's ANIMAL KINGDOM
  • Jon Beavers and Grant Harvey have been cast in recurring roles on the drama's upcoming fourth season. Beavers starred in the National Geographic limited series The Long Road Home. Harvey starred in ABC's one-season drama The Crossing.
  • They will play Jake and Colin, respectively, part of a crew living off the grid, committing armed robberies up and down the California coast. Jake is a good-natured, career criminal. His laid back demeanor is in stark contrast to the violent Colin, an emotionally damaged vet.
THE CW's ARROW
  • Ernie Hudson will appear in an upcoming episode of the drama's seventh season. He is best known for starring in the Ghostbusters film franchise. He currently stars in and executive produces BET's The Family Business. He next appears in Spectrum's upcoming drama L.A.'s Finest.
  • He will play a Four Star General of the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) who Diggle (David Ramsey) is forced to reconnect with for a Team Arrow mission despite unresolved tension from their past.
AMC's FEAR THE WALKING DEAD
  • Alexa Nisenson has been promoted to series regular on the drama's upcoming fifth season. She joined the drama as recurring during its fourth season - appearing in twelve episodes. She also appeared in the film Fist Fight.
  • She plays Charlie, a young character who faced the demons of her dark past and now has found her place amongst her new family. She will continue to seek redemption in the upcoming season.
