Casting News - Walton Goggins Reunites with Danny McBride for HBO's 'The Righteous Gemstones'; Plus 2 More Updates!

Amazon's The Hunt; DC Universe's Titans; and HBO's The Righteous Gemstones.

  • Walton Goggins has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming comedy created by and starring Danny McBride. His casting reunites him with McBride after starring for two seasons in HBO's Vice Principals together. Goggins also starred for seven seasons in FX's The Shield, six seasons in FX's Justified and one season in History's Six. He next stars in the upcoming second season of Epix's Deep State. He recently starred in the films The Hateful Eight, Tomb Raider and Ant-Man and the Wasp.
  • He will play Baby Billy, a former child star who clogged and sang for Jesus. As an aging man, he's fallen on hard times and comes to the Gemstones for salvation.
  • Kate Mulvany is set as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Al Pacino and Logan Lerman. Moreover, James Le Gros, Ebony Obsidian, Caleb Emery, Henry Hunter Hall and Jeannie Berlin have been cast in recurring roles on the first season.
  • Mulvany (Richard III) will play Sister Harriet, one of the members of The Hunt.
  • Le Gros (The Passage) will play Detective Grimbsy, a veteran FBI agent and Millie's (Jerrika Hinton) boss at the New York bureau.
  • Obsidian (Tough Love) will play Carol Hawthorne, Jonah's (Lerman) neighbor and romantic interest.
  • Emery (Little) and Hall (When They See Us) will play Jonah's best friends, Arthur "Bootyhole" McGuigan and Sherman "Cheeks" Johnson, respectively.
  • Berlin (The Night Of) will play Jonah's grandmother.
  • Iain Glen will play Bruce Wayne aka Batman on the drama's upcoming second season. He has starred on all eight seasons of HBO's Game of Thrones, with the final season debuting this Sunday.
  • After decades of fighting crime as Batman, billionaire Bruce Wayne is just as driven to protect Gotham from evil as he was in his prime. Needing to reconcile his relationship with Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), the duo hope to forge a new dynamic as Bruce tries to help his former sidekick and the Titans achieve success.
