Amazon's The Underground Railroad & Utopia; Netflix's Insatiable; and USA's Brave New World.





NETFLIX's INSATIABLE
  • Alex Landi has been cast in a recurring role on the dramedy's upcoming second season. He is currently appearing in a major recurring role on ABC's Grey's Anatomy.
  • No details were immediately released about the character he will be playing.
AMAZON's THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD
  • Thuso Mbedu, Aaron Pierre and Chase W. Dillon will star in the upcoming limited series from Barry Jenkins. Mbedu starred in the South African drama Is'thunzi, which earned her two International Emmy Award nominations. Pierre has previously starred in Amazon's Britannia and Syfy's Krypton. Dillon recurs on BET's upcoming comedy First Wives Club.
  • Mbedu will play Cora. Pierre will play Caesar. Dillon will play Homer.
AMAZON's UTOPIA
  • John Cusack will play a lead role on the upcoming drama starring Sasha Lane and Rainn Wilson. This will mark his first series regular commitment for a television project. His starring roles in film include Grosse Pointe Blank, Say Anything, High Fidelity and 2012.
  • He will play Dr. Kevin Christie, a charismatic, media-savvy and brilliant biotech mind and a philanthropic outlook. He altruistically wants to change the world through science.
USA's BRAVE NEW WORLD
  • Alden Ehrenreich has booked one of the lead roles on the upcoming drama based on the novel of the same name. He is best known for playing a young Han Solo in the 2018 Star Wars film Solo. His additional film credits include Beautiful Creatures, Blue Jasmine, Hail Caesar! and Rules Don't Apply.
  • He will play John the Savage, a young man raised outside the confines of the New World whose presence threatens to disrupt the rigid social order of the utopian New London.
