CBS All Access' Untitled Star Trek Drama & Why Women Kill; Hulu's Castle Rock; National Geographic's Barkskins; and Showtime's Halo.





CBS ALL ACCESS' UNTITLED STAR TREK DRAMA
  • Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway and Isa Briones have been cast on the upcoming drama featuring Patrick Stewart reprising his role as Jean-Luc Picard. Pill previously starred for three seasons in HBO's The Newsroom and one season in FX's American Horror Story. She next stars in FX's upcoming limited series Devs. Treadaway starred for three seasons in Showtime's Penny Dreadful and two seasons in Audience's Mr. Mercedes. Briones was part of the first national touring company of Hamilton.
  • No details were immediately released about the characters they will be playing.
CBS ALL ACCESS' WHY WOMEN KILL
  • Adam Ferrara has booked a recurring role on the upcoming dramedy starring Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin and Kirby Howell-Baptiste. He previously starred for five seasons in FX's Rescue Me and two seasons in Showtime's Nurse Jackie.
  • He will play Leo. Set in 1963, he is married to Sheila (Alicia Coppola) and is the owner of a dry-cleaning chain in Brooklyn. He is always good-humored and happy to welcome Rob (Sam Jaeger) and Beth Ann (Goodwin) to the neighborhood.
SHOWTIME's HALO
  • Pablo Schreiber will play the lead role on the upcoming drama based on the popular video game series. Schreiber recurred for two seasons in Netflix's Orange Is the New Black and starred for two seasons in Starz's American Gods. Australian newcomer Yerin Ha has also been cast on the series today.
  • Schreiber will play the Master Chief, the iconic Spartan super solider and humanity's last hope against the alien Covenant.
  • Ha will play Quan Ah, a shrewd and audacious 16-year-old from the Outer Colonies who meets Master Chief at a fateful time for them both.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC's BARKSKINS
  • David Thewlis will star in the upcoming drama created by Elwood Reid. He previously starred in the third season of FX's Fargo, which earned him an Emmy nomination. He has also recurred on Netflix's Big Mouth. He next stars in Amazon's upcoming drama The Feed.
  • He will play Monsieur Claude Trepagny, a wealthy landowner with grand visions for New France.
HULU's CASTLE ROCK
  • John Hoogenakker has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He currently stars in Amazon's Jack Ryan, which returns for its second season later in 2019.
  • He will play a man with a complicated connection to Annie Wilkes (Lizzy Caplan).
