- Vincent Cassel has been cast as a new series regular on the drama's upcoming third season. The French actor's film credits include La Haine, Ocean's Twelve, Eastern Promises, Black Swan and Jason Bourne. His casting marks his stateside television series regular debut.
- "We're incredibly excited to work with Vincent Cassel. We've been longtime fans of his and are thrilled for him to join the Westworld team," said series creators and showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, who only offered the tease that he will be playing a new villain.
