Netflix Reveals Premiere Dates for 'Designated Survivor' and 'Mr. Iglesias'

Netflix has today revealed the premiere dates for the upcoming third season of the original drama series Designated Survivor and the series debut of the original comedy series Mr. Iglesias.






All 10 episodes of the third season of Designated Survivor - its first produced exclusively for the streaming service - will debut on Friday, June 7.

In the new season, President Kirkman faces a political reality: campaigning. What does it take to make a leader? What price will he be willing to pay? The season will explore today's world of campaigning, smear tactics, debates, campaign finance and "fake news." Democracy, as we know it, will hang in the balance.

The drama stars Kiefer Sutherland, Kal Penn, Adan Canto, Italia Ricci, Maggie Q, Elena Tovar, Ben Watson, Julie White and Anthony Edwards.

David Guggenheim created the drama, with Neal Baer taking over as showrunner for the third season. They executive produce with Sutherland, Mark Gordon, Suzan Bymel, Simon Kinberg, Aditya Sood and Peter Noah.

The 10-episode first season of Mr. Iglesias will be available on Friday, June 21.

Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias stars as a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only them from being "counseled out" by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential.

The comedy also stars Oscar Nuñez, Jacob Vargas, Maggie Geha, Cree Cicchino, Fabrizio Guido, Richard Gant and Sherri Shepherd.

Kevin Hench created the comedy. He executive produces with Iglesias, Ron DeBlasio and Joe Meloche.
