Hulu Renews 'Shrill' for Season 2

Hulu has today renewed its original comedy series Shrill for a second season. The new season will produce eight episodes - up from the six in the first season.






The comedy stars Aidy Bryant, Lolly Adefope, Luka Jones, Ian Owens, John Cameron Mitchell, Patti Harrison, Julia Sweeney and Daniel Stern.

Bryant co-created the comedy with Ali Rushfield and Lindy West based on West's memoir. They executive produce with Lorne Michaels, Elizabeth Banks, Andrew Singer and Max Handelman. Dannah Shinder serves as a producer. Warner Bros. Television, Broadway Video and Brownstone Productions produce.

The 8-episode second season will premiere in 2020.
