OWN has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Ambitions starring Robin Givens.
The drama's first season will premiere on Tuesday, June 18 at 10/9c. following a new episode of The Haves and the Have Nots.
Set in the world of love, power and politics in Atlanta, the drama centers on the intense rivalry between formidable legal eagles Stephanie Lancaster and Amara Hughes, who are former best friends from collage but have become adversaries in both their personal and professional lives.
The drama also Essence Atkins, Brian White, Kendrick Cross, Brely Evans, Erica Page, Christina Kirkman and Steven Williams.
Recurring guest stars in the first season include Brian Bosworth, Matt Cedeño, Deena Dill, Gino Anthony Pesi and Kayla Smith.
Jamey Giddens created the drama. He executive produces with showrunner Kevin Arkadie, Will Packer, Sheila Duckworth and director Benny Boom. Lionsgate Television, Debmar-Mercury and Will Packer Media produce.
