- Eric McCormack has been cast in a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. He currently stars in NBC's Will & Grace, which returns for its eleventh season later this year. He previously starred for three seasons in TNT's Perception and three seasons in Netflix's Travelers.
- He will play Professor Shinerock, an eccentric university arts professor who loves to challenge and inspire his students.
