ABC's Stumptown; CBS All Access' Strange Angel; Hulu's Wu-Tang: An American Saga; and Spectrum's Manhunt: Lone Wolf.





SPECTRUM's MANHUNT: LONE WOLF
  • Carla Gugino will play the female lead opposite Jack Huston and Cameron Britton on the anthology series' upcoming second season. She recently starred in the first season of Netflix anthology The Haunting of Hill House. She next stars in Cinemax's Jett, which debuts in June.
  • She will play Kathy Scruggs, a hard-drinking, tough-talking crime reporter for Atlanta's biggest daily newspaper who gets the once-in-a-lifetime scoop that Richard Jewell (Britton) may be the Olympic Park bomber. Breaking the biggest story in the world makes Kathy a sensation - but her life unravels as evidence starts pointing against it being the truth.
HULU's WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA
  • Andrea-Rachel Parker has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Ashton Sanders and Shameik Moore. She has previously recurred on HBO's The Deuce and Starz's Power.
  • She will play Mama Ganga, who is witty, sarcastic and fun-loving.
CBS ALL ACCESS' STRANGE ANGEL
  • Joslyn DeFreece has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She is a relative newcomer, with her casting here marking her first major television role.
  • She will play Brigitte, a charming German expat with a dark secret who finds a home and acceptance through the religious movement, Thelema.
ABC's STUMPTOWN
  • Jake Johnson has been cast as a series regular on the upcoming drama starring Cobie Smulders. He previously starred for seven seasons in FOX's New Girl. He also voiced one of the lead roles in the Academy Award-winning animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. He next voices the lead character in Netflix's upcoming animated comedy Hoops.
  • He will play Grey McConnell, Dex's (Smulders) best friend, though the two have unresolved feelings that run deeper. He owns and operates a popular bar in town, all the while hiding a questionable past that comes back to bite him. The role was played by Mark Webber in the original pilot.
