FOX's BH90210; National Geographic's Barkskins; Netflix's Sweet Magnolias; and USA's Brave New World.
USA's BRAVE NEW WORLD
- Jessica Brown Findlay will play the female lead on the upcoming drama starring Alden Ehrenreich and Harry Lloyd. She previously starred for three seasons in PBS' Downton Abbey. She currently stars in Hulu's Harlots, which returns for its third season in July.
- She will play Lenina Crowne, a Beta Plus Hatchery worker who has begun to question her position within the strict social strata of the New World.
NETFLIX's SWEET MAGNOLIAS
- Monica Potter, Brooke Elliott and Heather Headley have been cast in the lead roles on the upcoming drama based on the novel by Sherryl Woods. Potter previously starred for six seasons in NBC's Parenthood. Elliott starred for six seasons in Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva. Headley won a Tony Award in 2000 for the musical Aida. She has currently been recurring on NBC's Chicago Med.
- Potter will play Maddie Townsend, a low-key but resolute, warm and loving woman with a vocabulary like Southern poetry. She finds herself at a crossroads in her life and her best friends are trying desperately to convince her that now is the time for reinvention.
- Elliott will play Dana Sue Sullivan, the strong-willed owner and head chef of Sullivan's Restaurant, a cherished spot in the town of Serenity. A former wild child, she works constantly but is always willing to drop everything for her friends.
- Headley will play Helen Decatur, a lawyer who has made it her goal to create an opportunity for the people of Serenity. Whether professionally or as a friend, she is an ally - particularly to Maddie. She is selfless, and she has to be - her career means she spends a lot of time focusing on other people's problems.
FOX's BH90210
- La La Anthony has booked a recurring role on the upcoming faux revival of the hit drama Beverly Hills, 90210. She currently stars in Starz's Power, which returns for its sixth and final season in August. She has also recently recurred on VH1's Daytime Divas and FOX's Star.
- She will play Shay, Brian Austin Green's wife, a superstar hip-hop/pop artist. She is the breadwinner of the family while her Mr. Mom husband watches over their three kids. She has become used to being the center of attention, but can still be surprisingly down to earth.
NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC's BARKSKINS
- Aneurin Barnard, Thomas M. Wright and Tallulah Haddon will co-star on the upcoming drama starring David Thewlis and Marcia Gay Harden. Barnard has starred in the films Dunkirk and The Goldfinch. Wright starred for two seasons in FX's The Bridge and two seasons in WGN America's Outsiders. Haddon starred for one season in Channel 4's Kiss Me First.
- Barnard will play Hamish Goames, a polished, clean-cut Hudson Bay Company man in search of his lost comrade.
- Wright will play Elisha Cooke, a cutthroat English barrel maker, who has schemed his way into New France, set on growing the crown's stake in the region.
- Haddon will play Melissande, a sharp-tongued, ambitious Fille Du Roy, a real program where young French women got to pick a husband (of their choosing) to populate and settle the new land.
