During its portion of Disney's upfronts presentation today, Freeform renewed its original drama series The Bold Type for a fourth season.
The drama stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy, Sam Page, Matt Ward, Stephen Conrad Moore and Melora Hardin.
Wendy Straker Hauser has been tapped to succeed Amanda Lasher as showrunner for the upcoming fourth season. Hauser has been with the show since its first season. Lasher was at the helm for the second and third seasons, replacing series creator Sarah Watson.
Hauser will executive produce with Joanna Coles, Matt McGuinness, David Bernard and Ruben Fleischer. Freeform Original Productions, Universal Television and The District produce.
