Nicole Kidman Reunites with 'Big Little Lies' Team for Hulu Limited Series 'Nine Perfect Strangers'

Academy Award and Emmy-winning actress Nicole Kidman will reunite with the team behind HBO's Big Little Lies to adapt author Liane Moriarty's novel Nine Perfect Strangers as a limited series for Hulu. The series is expected to debut in late 2020.

The series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort's director, Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine "perfect" strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

David E. Kelley and John Henry Butterworth will co-write and co-showrun the limited series. They will executive produce with Kidman, Moriarty, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Casey Haver and Per Saari. Blossom Films, Made Up Stories and Endeavor Content will produce.
