TBS Renews 'The Last O.G.' and 'Miracle Workers'

During WarnerMedia's combined presentation at the upfronts, TBS renewed its original comedy series The Last O.G. and the original comedic anthology series Miracle Workers for their third and second seasons, respectively. Both shows will return with new episodes in 2020.

The Last O.G. stars Tracy Morgan, Tiffany Haddish, Ryan Gaul, Allen Maldonado, Taylor Mosby and Dante Hoagland.

Jordan Peele and John Carcieri created the comedy. Peele executive produces with Morgan, Kim Tannenbaum, Eric Tannenbaum, Saladin Patterson and Joel Zadak. Studio T, Monkeypaw Productions, The Tannenbaum Company and Artists First produce.

"We are so proud of The Last O.G.'s continued success," said Brett Weitz, General Manager, TBS and TNT. "This hilarious and heartfelt show has connected with fans and we couldn't be more grateful for the big laughs that Tracy and the O.G. gang deliver each week."

The second season of comedic anthology Miracle Workers will be a medieval story about friendship, family and trying not to be murdered. It revolves around a group of villagers in the dark ages trying to stay positive in an age of inequality and fake news.

Daniel Radcliffe, Steve Buscemi, Geraldine Viswanathan and Karan Soni will continue to star in the series, though will be playing new characters in the upcoming season.

Simon Rich created the series. He executive produces with Radcliffe, Buscemi, Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer and Katy Jensen. Studio T and Broadway Video produce.

"Simon's absurdist and comedic tales of human existence are truly unique," added Thom Hinkle, Executive Vice President of Original Programming, TBS. "He pitched us what he wants to explore in the dark ages with these brilliant actors, and it's weird and smart and perfect."
