  • Elizabeth Banks has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Cate Blanchett, Rose Byrne and Uzo Aduba. She starred in the Pitch Perfect and The Hunger Games film franchises. She next stars in the upcoming Charlie's Angels film reboot, which she also wrote and directed.
  • She will play Jill Ruckelshaus, a pro-choice, socially progressive Republican who was appointed by President Ford to advance women's rights. She fought to keep the Republican Party from being taken over by Phyllis Schlafly (Blanchett) and the Religious Right.
  • Paul Yen has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming limited series starring Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington. His guest credits include TNT's The Last Ship, Amazon's Bosch, CBS' Young Sheldon, TNT's Animal Kingdom and ABC's How to Get Away With Murder.
  • He will play Scott, an early adoptee of the man-bun that is sexy, but who is also shady and unethical. He manages the local Chinese restaurant where Mia (Washington) works and can't hide his attraction to her.
  • Danny Vasquez has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season - its first produced exclusively for the streaming service. His guest credits include Showtime's Shameless, USA's Unsolved and CBS' Scorpion.
  • He will play Fincher, a cop who fights a deep sense of burnout by exuding a certain dry, blue-collar charm.
  • Goran Visnjic has landed a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Kat Dennings. He previously starred for nine seasons in NBC's ER and two seasons in NBC's Timeless. He recently recurred on NBC's This Is Us and Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet.
  • He will play Dr. Colin Brooks. No additional details about the character were immediately released.
  • Joseph-David Jones has been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming eighth and final season. He recurred on the drama throughout its seventh season - appearing in six episodes total. He also had a recurring role on CMT's Nashville.
  • He plays Connor Hawke, an agent of the Knightwatch who also operates as the second Green Arrow.
