CBS' CAROL'S SECOND ACT
  • Ashley Tisdale has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy starring Patricia Heaton and Kyle MacLachlan. She starred in the High School Musical film franchise as well as one season in TBS' Clipped. She next stars in Netflix's upcoming comedy Merry Happy Whatever.
  • She will play Jenny, Carol's (Heaton) big-hearted daughter. She is a pharmaceutical rep and covers Carol's hospital. She loves and is supportive of her mom, and her bubbly and outgoing personality and carefree spirit is a buoyant counterpoint to Carol's neurotic medical colleagues. The role was played by Bonnie Dennison in the original pilot.
CBS' MACGYVER
  • Levy Tran has officially been promoted to series regular for the drama's upcoming fourth season. She joined the cast as recurring during its third season in order to help fill the void created by star George Eads' exit. She appeared in seven episodes overall.
  • She plays Desiree Nguyen, who joined the Phoenix Foundation to protect MacGyver (Lucas Till) and his team on their global missions.
