Hulu Announces Premiere Date for Limited Series 'Looking for Alaska' Starring Charlie Plummer and Kristine Froseth

Hulu has today announced the premiere date for its upcoming original limited series Looking for Alaska based on the novel by John Green.







All eight episodes of the limited series will debut on Friday, October 18.

The series follows teenager Miles "Pudge" Halter as he enrolls in boarding school to try to gain a deeper perspective on life. He falls in love with Alaska Young, and finds a group of loyal friends. But after an unexpected tragedy, Miles and his friends attempt to make sense of what they've been through.

The cast includes Charlie Plummer, Kristine Froseth, Denny Love, Jay Lee, Landry Bender, Sofia Vassilieva, Uriah Shelton, Jordan Conner, Ron Cephas Jones and Timothy Simons.

Josh Schwartz developed the series. He executive produces with Stephanie Savage, Jessica Tuchinsky, Mark Waters, John Green, Marty Bowen, Isaac Klausner and director Sarah Adina Smith. Lis Rowinski serves as a co-executive producer. Paramount Television Fake Empire Productions and Temple Hill Entertainment produce.
