Amazon Announces Premiere Dates for 'Transparent' Series Finale, New Anthology 'Modern Love' and New Animation 'Undone'

During the streaming service's presentation at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour, Amazon announced premiere dates for the series finale event of Transparent, the new original anthology series Modern Love and the new original animated series Undone.

The series finale of Transparent will be released on Friday, September 27.

Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Alexandra Billings, Kathryn Hahn, Shakina Nayfack, Trace Lysette and more star in the musical event.

Series creator Jill Soloway wrote the special, with their sibling Faith Soloway contributing the original songs.

All 8 episodes of the episodic anthology series Modern Love will be available on Friday, October 18.

Based on the New York Times' popular Modern Love column, the series explores love in its multitude of forms, including sexual, romantic, familial, platonic and self-love.

The cast featured throughout the season includes Anne Hathaway, Tina Fey, Dev Patel, John Slattery, Brandon Victor Dixon, Catherine Keener, Julia Garner, Andy Garcia, Cristin Milioti, Olivia Cooke, Andrew Scott, Shea Whigham, Gary Carr, Sofia Boutella and John Gallagher Jr.

John Carney created the series and also directs. He executive produces with Daniel Jones, Todd Hoffman, Sam Dolnick and Choire Sicha. Storied Media Group and the New York Times produce.

The entire first season of animated series Undone will debut on Friday, September 13.

After getting into a near-fatal car crash, Alma discovers she has a new relationship with time and uses the ability to find out the truth about her father's death.

The voice cast includes Rosa Salazar, Angelique Cabral, Bob Odenkirk, Daveed Diggs, Constance Marie, Siddharth Dhananjay, Tyler Posey, John Corbett, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Sheila Vand.

Raphael Bob-Waksberg and Kate Purdy created the series. They executive produce with Michael Eisner, Noel Bright, Steven A. Cohen and Tommy Pallotta. The Tornante Company produces.
