- Michael Beach has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming seventh season. He previously starred for five seasons in NBC's Third Watch. He has recently recurred on The CW's The 100, ABC's The Rookie, CBS' S.W.A.T., ABC's For the People and DC Universe's Swamp Thing. He next stars in Apple's upcoming drama Truth Be Told opposite Octavia Spencer.
- He will play Darius Walker, a Chicago crime boss who's working to revitalize his African American community.
NETFLIX's COWBOY BEBOP
- Elena Satine has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring John Cho and Mustafa Shakir. She previously starred for two seasons in Starz's Magic City and one season in ABC's Revenge. She has also recurred on FOX's The Gifted and CBS All Access' Strange Angel.
- She will play Julia. With a sultry beauty and a voice to die for, she is the dream-like object of Spike Spiegel's (Cho) desire. She struggles to survive in a violent world.
AMAZON's THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL
- Liza Weil has booked a recurring role on the comedy's upcoming third season. Her casting reunites her with Gilmore Girls series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino after starring for all seven seasons of The WB and its Netflix limited series revival. She currently stars in ABC's How to Get Away With Murder, which begins its sixth and final season next month.
- No details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
AMAZON's THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD
- William Jackson Harper has landed a recurring role on the upcoming limited series from Barry Jenkins. He currently stars in NBC's The Good Place, which returns for its fourth and final season next month.
- He will play Royal, a freeborn black man who Cora (Thuso Mbedu) encounters on her epic journey.
