AMC Renews 'The Walking Dead' for Season 11, Lauren Cohan to Return

During the horror franchise's panel at New York Comic-Con, AMC announced the renewal of its original drama series The Walking Dead for an eleventh season. The renewal comes a day ahead of the drama's tenth season premiere.





The drama stars Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Ryan Hurst, Callan McAuliffe, Avi Nash, Eleanor Matsuura, Cooper Andrews, Nadia Hilker, Cailey Fleming, Cassady McClincy, Lauren Ridloff, Samantha Morton and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Moreover, it was confirmed today that Lauren Cohan will return as Maggie for Season 11 as a series regular.

Angela Kang serves as drama's current showrunner. She executive produces with Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Scott M. Gimple, Greg Nicotero, Tom Luse, Denise Huth and Gale Anne Hurd. AMC Studios, Valhalla Entertainment, Skybound Entertainment and Circle of Confusion produce.
