Casting News - Michael Raymond-James Lands Recurring Role on 'Prodigal Son'; Kaley Ronayne Joins 'The Right Stuff'

Casting News - October 9, 2019

FOX's Prodigal Son and National Geographic's The Right Stuff.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC's THE RIGHT STUFF
  • Kaley Ronayne has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Patrick J. Adams, Jake McDorman and Colin O'Donoghue. She has previously recurred on TNT's Public Morals, Cinemax's Quarry and FOX's Gotham.
  • She will play Dee O'Hara, a nurse for the Mercury Seven. Unlike the NASA doctors, who are nervous and star-struck around astronauts, she is unaffected by the instant celebrity of the seven men. Dedicated to her work and integral in building the astronaut medical wing at Cape Canaveral, Dee ultimately strikes up an unlikely friendship with the enigmatic Alan Shepard (McDorman).
FOX's PRODIGAL SON
  • Michael Raymond-James has landed a recurring role on the drama's first season. He previously starred for one season in HBO's True Blood, one season in ABC's Once Upon a Time and one season in CBS All Access' Tell Me a Story.
  • He will play Paul Lazar, an old friend to Dr. Martin Whitly (Michael Sheen). A Buffalo Bill type, he kills people because he believes in a God-given mission to clean up the streets.
