NBC's UNTITLED TED DANSON & TINA FEY COMEDY
- Holly Hunter will co-star opposite Ted Danson in the upcoming comedy created by Tina Fey and Robert Carlock. She won an Academy Award for the 1993 film The Piano. She is a two-time Emmy winner for NBC's Roe vs. Wade and HBO's The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom. She recently recurred on the second season of HBO's Succession. She has also been cast in the CBS Television Studios miniseries based on James Comey's book A Higher Loyalty.
- She will play Arpi, a longtime liberal councilwoman. Having dedicated her life to the betterment of Los Angeles, she makes no secret of her disdain for the newly elected Mayor Bremer (Danson), whom she considers unqualified, sexist and too tall to be trusted.
APPLE TV+'s LISEY'S STORY
- Joan Allen has been cast on the upcoming limited series starring Julianne Moore and Clive Owen. She won a Tony Award in 1988 for the play Burn This. She has also received three Academy Award nominations for Nixon, The Crucible and The Contender.
- She will play Amanda, the oldest of Lisey's (Moore) sisters.
DISNEY+'s LIZZIE MCGUIRE
- Adam Lamberg is the latest actor to reprise his role from the original Disney Channel series starring Hilary Duff for the upcoming revival season. He starred in the two seasons of the original series run.
- He plays Gordo, Lizzie's (Duff) best friend, whose intelligence, creativity and wry observations about middle school life made him a bit of an outcast - except to his inner circle of friends.
SHOWTIME's THE CHI
- Cory Hardrict, Joel Steingold and Salvador Chacon have landed recurring roles on the drama's upcoming third season. Hardrict starred for two seasons in Sony Crackle's The Oath. Steingold's guest credits include ABC's How to Get Away With Murder, Showtime's Shameless and TNT's Animal Kingdom. Chacon has recurred for two seasons on FX's Mayans MC.
- Hardrict will play Dante, an independent rapper whose taste in women is as selective as the strain of cannabis he buys and producers he works with.
- Steingold will play Martin St. John, a hedge fund manager with his eyes and cents on the Chicago political landscape. He is also the father of Kevin's (Alex Hibbert) new love interest.
- Chacon will play Tomas Gutierrez, a nurse who works alongside Jada (Yolonda Ross) whose view of his native Chicago and the people in it is influenced by his cultural heritage.
