FOX has opted to keep the original series BH90210 as a limited event instead of renewing it for more episodes. The limited series finished its six-episode run on September 11, 2019.
The limited series starred Gabrielle Carteris, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling and Ian Ziering.
Garth and Spelling co-created the series with Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler, while Paul Sciarrotta served as showrunner. They executive produced with Carteris, Doherty, Green, Priestley, Ziering and director Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum. Fox Entertainment, CBS Television Studios and Alberghini Chessler Productions produced.
The network released the following statement: "We are so proud to have reunited in a very special summer event one of the network's legacy series and casts with 90210 fans across the country. Profound thanks to and respect for Brian, Gabrielle, Ian, Jason, Jennie, Shannen and Tori, who, along with the entire crew and everyone at Fox and CBS Television Studios, poured their hearts and souls into this truly inventive and nostalgic revival."
