NETFLIX's SHADOW AND BONE
- Calahan Skogman, Zoë Wanamaker, Kevin Eldon, Julian Kostov, Luke Pasqualino, Jasmine Blackborow and Gabrielle Brooks have been cast in recurring roles on the upcoming drama starring Ben Barnes and Jessie Mei Li. Skogman and Blackborow are relative newcomers. Wanamaker recently starred in the ITV drama Girlfriends. Eldon recurred in the third season of Netflix's The Last Kingdom. Kostov has recurred on Epix's Berlin Station and USA's Treadstone. Pasqualino starred for two seasons in Sony Crackle's Snatch. Brooks starred in the Young Vic Theatre's production of Twelfth Night.
- Skogman will play Matthias, a Fjerdan witch hunter raised to despise the Grisha and their magic.
- Wanamaker will play Baghra, a ruthless teacher and trainer, determined to hone the power of each of her charges.
- Eldon will play the Apparat, the mysterious spiritual adviser to Ravka's royal family.
- Kostov will play Fedyor, a free-spirited Heartrender and loyal follower of General Kirigan (Barnes).
- Pasqualino will play David, a brilliant Fabrikator who feels most at ease with his nose buried in a scientific treatise.
- Blackborow will play Marie, an Inferni who tries to teach Alina (Li) the social rules of the Little Palace.
- Brooks will play Nadia, a Squaller who befriends Alina despite opposition from Zova.
HBO MAX's AMERICANAH
- Uzo Aduba will co-star on the upcoming limited series starring Lupita Nyong'o and Zackary Momoh. She previously starred for all seven seasons in Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, where she won two Emmy Awards for her performance. She next stars in Hulu's upcoming limited series Mrs. America as well as the fourth season of FX's anthology drama Fargo.
- She will play Aunty Uju, Ifemelu's (Nyong'o) young aunt and confidant. A highly intelligent doctor, she left Nigeria under tumultuous circumstances and has resettled in America to build a better life for herself and her son.
