AMC Announces Premiere Date for New Anthology 'Dispatches From Elsewhere' Starring Jason Segel

AMC has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original anthology series Dispatches From Elsewhere created by and starring Jason Segel (How I Met Your Mother).






The 10-episode season will debut with a two-night premiere event - starting on Sunday, March 1 at 10/9c. following a new episode of The Walking Dead and then moving to its regular time slot on Monday, March 2 at 10/9c. following a new episode of Better Call Saul.

The series centers around four ordinary people who feel there's something missing in their lives, but they can't quite put their finger on what it is. This diverse foursome is brought together by chance - or perhaps it's by design - when they stumble onto a puzzle hiding just behind the veil of everyday life. As they begin to accept the mysterious "Dispatches from Elsewhere" challenges, they come to find that the mystery winds deeper thanthey imagined, and their eyes are opened to a world of possibility and magic.

In addition to Segel, the anthology series stars Sally Field, Richard E. Grant, André Benjamin and Eve Lindley.

Segel executive produces with showrunner Mark Friedman, Scott Rudin, Garrett Basch, Eli Bush, Jeff Freilich and director Alethea Jones. AMC Studios produces.
