Netflix has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Dracula starring Claes Bang - a co-production with BBC One.
All three episodes of the first season will be available on Saturday, January 4.
The series is a gothic reworking of Bram Stoker's 1897 story about the Transylvanian vampire Dracula (Bang), who moves to England to find new blood.
The cast also features John Heffernan, Dolly Wells, Joanna Scanlan, Morfydd Clark, Lujza Richter, Mark Gatiss, Lyndsey Marshal, Chanel Cresswell, Matthew Beard, Lydia West, Paul Brennen, Sarah Niles, Sofia Oxenham, John McCrea, Phil Dunster and Millicent Wong.
Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) developed the drama. They executive produce with Sue Vertue, Ben Irving, Larry Tanz and Carolyn Newman. Hartswood Films produces in association with Netflix and BBC One.
Jonny Campbell, Damon Thomas and Paul McGuigan directed the season.
