Netflix has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of the original drama series Altered Carbon.All 8 episodes of the second season will be available on Thursday, February 27.
The upcoming season features a new mystery and mission, with new sleeves and new characters, while also examining the search for meaning and love when you live for centuries, and you must continue to live with what you have done in your past.
The drama stars Anthony Mackie, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Simone Missick, Lela Loren, Chris Conner, Dina Shihabi and Torben Liebrecht.
James Saito and Will Yun Lee will guest star in the new season.
Laeta Kalogridis developed the drama based on the novel by Richard K. Morgan, with Alison Schapker taking over as showrunner for the second season. They executive produce with James Middleton, Rose Lam, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross. Skydance Television produces.
Ciaran Donnelly, MJ Bassett, Jeremy Webb and Salli Richardson-Whitfield serve as directors for the second season.
