SHOWTIME's RITA
- Josh Hutcherson, Bryce Gangel, Curtiss Cook, Darren Pettie and Betsy Brandt will co-star on the drama pilot starring Lena Headey. Hutcherson starred in The Hunger Games film franchise and is currently a series regular on Hulu's Future Man, which has been renewed for a third and final season. Gangel's guest credits include FOX's The Exorcist and NBC's Chicago Fire. Cook has recurred on Showtime's The Chi and FX's Mayans MC. Pettie has recurred on CBS' SEAL Team and Amazon's Sneaky Pete. Brandt starred for five seasons in AMC's Breaking Bad and four seasons in CBS' Life in Pieces.
- Hutcherson will play Ricco, Rita's (Headey) oldest son, a former bad boy who can do no wrong in her eyes.
- Gangel will play April, Ricco's girlfriend, a psych major who enjoys the challenge of domesticating Ricco.
- Cook will play Spencer, the sensitive and professional principal at the school where Rita teaches.
- Pettie will play Tom, April's father whose past relationship is unearthed in an unexpected way.
- Brandt will play June, April's cultured and controlling mother.
