Development News - Kelli Goss and Elizabeth Alderfer to Co-Star on CBS Comedy Pilot 'The United States of Al'; Plus 2 More Updates!

CBS' The Equalizer & The United States of Al; and HBO Max's Delilah.

  • Kelli Goss and Elizabeth Alderfer will co-star on the comedy pilot starring Adhir Kalyan and Parker Young. Goss appeared in a major recurring role on Netflix's The Ranch. Alderfer starred in Netflix's one-season comedy Disjointed and has recurred on NBC's A.P. Bio.
  • Goss will play Vanessa, Riley's (Young) soon-to-be ex-wife and the fiercely protective mother of their young daughter. She tries her best to co-parent with her undependable ex, despite her frustration with his hard-partying, adrenaline-junkie lifestyle.
  • Alderfer will play Lizzie, Riley's arty younger sister who lives at home and works for her father, Art (Dean Norris). She's adrift since the loss of her fiancé, killed in the line of duty. She copes by throwing herself into booze and Burning Man, which makes her both an ally for her brother, an enabler for his more self-destructive tendencies, and like no woman Al (Kalyan) ever met in Afghanistan.
