NBC's SUPERSTORE
  • America Ferrera announced today that she will be leaving the cast of the hit comedy at the end of its current fifth season. The comedy has already been renewed for a sixth season. In addition to starring, she has also executive produced and directed several episodes.
  • Ferrera released the following statement: "The last five years on Superstore have been some of the most rewarding, enriching and enjoyable years of my career. Producing, directing and acting with this wonderful cast and crew has given me opportunities to grow as a person and storyteller. I'm so grateful to my partners at NBC and Universal Television for the support and belief they have always placed in the show, and I'm most thankful to the brilliant Justin Spitzer for creating the funny, smart and relevant world of Superstore and inviting me to be a part of it. As I start the next chapter for my family and career, I wish only the best, and much continued success, to my beloved Superstore family."
NETFLIX's THE WITCHER
  • Kim Bodnia has joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. He currently stars in BBC America's Killing Eve, which returns for its third season in April.
  • He will play Vesemir, a charming relic of the witcher Golden Age. He is the oldest and most experienced Witcher as well as a father figure to Geralt (Henry Cavill). As one of the survivors of the Massacre at Kaer Morhen, a haunting slaughter that nearly exterminated the Witchers, he is fiercely protective of the remaining few, who he sees as an endangered community who can find glory on "the Path" slaying monsters.
SHOWTIME's BILLIONS
  • Akili McDowell has booked a recurring role on the drama's upcoming fifth season. He currently stars in OWN's David Makes Man, which has been renewed for a second season.
  • He will play Savion Williams, a young kid growing up in Axe's (Damian Lewis) childhood hometown.
THE CW's WALKER
  • Coby Bell will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Jared Padalecki and Lindsey Morgan. He previously starred for six seasons in NBC's Third Watch, seven seasons in The CW/BET's The Game, four seasons in USA's Burn Notice and two seasons in FOX's The Gifted.
  • He will play Captain Larry James, a Texas Ranger Captain, a trailblazer in his division. Confident and sharp as a razor, he is the only African American man in the Austin headquarters and one of only a few in the entire Ranger division. He has true grit and a wry sense of humor.
FX's Y
  • Ben Schnetzer will play the male lead on the upcoming drama starring Diane Lane. His film credits include The Book Thief, Pride, Snowden and Saint Judy.
  • He will play Yorick Brown, the last living cisgender man on Earth. He replaces Barry Keoghan, who departed the drama earlier this month as production gears up for an April 2020 start.
