ABC's THIRTYSOMETHING(ELSE)
  • Chris Wood has been cast as a series regular on the sequel pilot to ABC's thirtysomething written by Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick. He previously starred for two seasons in The CW's Supergirl. He also recurred on The CW's The Vampire Diaries.
  • He will play Leo Steadman, the son of Hope Murdoch (Mel Harris) and Michael Steadman (Ken Olin). Good-looking and charming (not unlike his father), he is so intent on becoming a "big deal" like his father that he skips steps along the way. His talent and grand ideas are tripped up by his lack of focus and follow-through.

  • GOOD SAM (Drama) - Written by Katie Wech (Jane the Virgin). Executive produced by Wech, Jennie Snyder Urman and Joanna Klein. Produced by CBS Television Studios and Sutton St. Productions. Logline: A talented yet stifled surgeon embraces her leadership role after her renowned and pompous boss falls into a coma. When he awakens and wants to resume surgery, however, it falls to her to supervise this overbearing blowhard who never acknowledged her talents - and also happens to be her father.
  • OUT THE DOOR (Drama) - Written by Evan Katz (24). Executive produced by Katz, Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and KristieAnne Reed. Produced by CBS Television Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Television. Logline: Upon learning that his impending retirement is being pushed off by several years, an LAPD detective who just wants his pension so he can go off and live the good life decides to do everything in his power to get fired, but his bad behavior only leads to surprising success at solving cases.
