HBO and RAI Renew 'My Brilliant Friend' for Season 3

HBO and RAI have today renewed their original drama series My Brilliant Friend for a third season. The drama will return with a new season based on Elena Ferrante's third book in the bestselling series Those Who Leave and Those Who Stay





Starring Margherita Mazzucco and Gaia Girace, the drama follows Elena and Lila's journey into adulthood as they weather romance, heartbreak, success and betrayal.

Saverio Costanzo created and directs the drama. He executive produces with Paolo Sorrentino, Jennifer Schuur, Elena Ferrante, Francesco Piccolo, Laura Paolucci, Lorenzo Mieli, Mario Gianani and Domenico Procacci. The Apartment, Wildside and Fandango Productions produce.
