AMC's Pantheon; HBO's His Dark Materials; Starz's Power Book II: Ghost; and Syfy's Chucky.
SYFY's CHUCKY
- Brad Dourif will return as the voice of the title character on the upcoming series extension of the feature film franchise. He previously provided the voice of Chucky in seven films of the franchise - 1988's Child's Play, 1990's Child's Play 2, 1991's Child's Play 3, 1998's Bride of Chucky, 2004's Seed of Chucky, 2013's Curse of Chuck and 2017's Cult of Chucky.
- In the series, a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale and throws an idyllic American town into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town's hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies - and allies - from Chucky's past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
AMC's PANTHEON
- Taylor Schilling, Rosemarie DeWitt, Aaron Eckhart and Paul Dano will play the lead voice roles on the upcoming animated drama created by Craig Silverstein. Schilling previously starred for seven seasons in Netflix's Orange Is the New Black. DeWitt recently starred in the Hulu limited series Little Fires Everywhere. Eckhart starred in the feature films The Dark Knight, Olympus Has Fallen and Sully. Dano earned an Emmy Award nomination for the Showtime limited series Escape at Dannemora.
- No details were immediately announced about the characters they will be playing.
HBO's HIS DARK MATERIALS
- Terence Stamp, Jade Anouka and Simone Kirby have joined the cast of the drama's upcoming second season. Stamp received an Academy Award nomination for the 1962 film Billy Budd. Anouka previously starred in the ITV dramas Trauma and Cleaning Up. Kirby starred in the second season of BBC's Peaky Blinders.
- Stamp will play Giacomo Paradisi, the bearer of the Subtle Knife who lives in the Torre de Angeli (Tower of the Angels) in Cittágazze.
- Anouka will play Ruta Skadi, the witch queen who joins forces with Serafina Pekkala (Ruta Gedmintas) against the Magisterium.
- Kirby will play Dr. Mary Malone, the head of a Dark Matter Research Team at an Oxford University in our world.
STARZ's POWER BOOK II: GHOST
- Shalim Ortiz has booked a recurring role on the upcoming Power spinoff starring Mary J. Blige and Clifford "Method Man" Smith. He previously starred in ABC's one-season drama Grand Hotel.
- He will play Danilo Ramirez, an NYPD officer station in Queens, New York. He will find himself torn between the duties of his badge and duty to the ones he loves.
