After originally being ordered to series at and filmed for Paramount Network, the upcoming original comedy series Emily in Paris starring Lily Collins will debut this fall as a Netflix original.

A premiere date for the 10-episode first season has not been announced beyond Fall 2020.

The half-hour comedy follows Emily (Collins), an ambitious twenty-something marketing executive from Chicago, who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company - and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy. Emily's new life in Paris is filled with intoxicating adventures and surprising challenges as she juggles winning over her work colleagues, making friends and navigating new romances.

In addition to Collins, the comedy stars Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat and Bruno Gouery.

Recurring guest stars include Kate Walsh, William Abadie and Arnaud Viard.

Younger's Darren Star created the comedy. He executive produces with Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns and Andrew Fleming. Collins serves as a producer. MTV Studios and Jax Media produce.

"MTV Studios and I couldn't hope for a more perfect home for Emily in Paris than Netflex," said Star. "With their international reach, we are excited to share Emily with audiences around the world."
