Casting News - Chris Geere to Recur on 'A Million Little Things'; Lisa Edelstein Joins '9-1-1: Lone Star'; Plus 1 More Update!

Casting News - September 25, 2020

ABC's A Million Little Things; CBS' B Positive; and FOX's 9-1-1: Lone Star.

  • Chris Geere has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming third season. He previously starred for five seasons in FXX's You're the Worst. He has also recurred on ABC's Modern Family and Channel 4's This Way Up.
  • He will play Jamie, Maggie's (Allison Miller) roommate in Oxford. Brash and funny, he shows many colors. Sometimes you live with a person you wouldn't necessarily be friends with, but then become great friends because you live together.
  • Terrence Terrell is set as a series regular on the upcoming comedy starring Thomas Middleditch and Annaleigh Ashford. He previously recurred on Amazon's Bosch and BET+'s Bigger.
  • He will play Eli, a friendly, outgoing professional football player for the Seahawks. A ladies man with a bit of an ego, he's not shy about flashing his Super Bowl ring. After too many hits to the body on the field, Eli finds himself in need of a new kidney. His spirit isn't crushed, however, partly because he's in denial about his career coming to an end. While he waits for his brother to lose weight so he can be his donor, Eli meets Drew (Middleditch) in dialysis. The two start an unlikely friendship.
FOX's 9-1-1: LONE STAR
  • Lisa Edelstein has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. She previously starred for seven seasons in FOX's House and five seasons in Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. She has also recurred on ABC's The Good Doctor and Netflix's The Kominsky Method.
  • She will play Gwyneth, Owen's (Rob Lowe) ex-wife and T.K.'s (Ronen Rubinstein) mother. A lawyer, she visits Austin from New York City to be with T.K. after he was shot and hospitalized.
