Peacock Announces Premiere Date for 'Saved by the Bell' Reboot

Peacock has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming reboot of the hit comedy series Saved by the Bell.

The comedy will debut its first season on Wednesday, November 25.

The reboot follows California Governor Zack Morris (recurring guest star Mark-Paul Gosselaar) who gets into trouble for the state's many underfunded high schools and proposes they send affected students to California's highest-performing schools. Thus enter the iconic Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much-needed dose of reality.

Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley reprise their original roles on the comedy as series regulars in the reboot.

New cast members include Josie Totah, Dexter Darden, Haskiri Velazquez, Mitchell Hoog, Alycia Pascual-Pena, Belmont Cameli and John Michael Higgins.

Tracey Wigfield created the comedy. She executive produces with Franco Bario and Peter Engel. Universal Television produces.
