Amazon's Bosch; CBS All Access' Why Women Kill; HBO Max's Gossip Girl & Peacemaker; NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist; and Starz's Run the World

CBS ALL ACCESS' WHY WOMEN KILL
  • Lana Parrilla, B.K. Cannon, Jordane Christie, Matthew Daddario and Veronica Falcón have joined the cast of the upcoming second installment of the anthology series. Parrilla previously starred for seven seasons in ABC's Once Upon a Time. Cannon has recurred on Freeform's Switched at Birth and Netflix's The Politician. Christie has recurred on The CW's Containment and Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House. Daddario starred for three seasons in Freeform's Shadowhunters. Falcón starred for three seasons in USA's Queen of the South.
  • Parrilla will play Rita, the sardonic wife to the wealthy and evil Carlo Castillo. As she waits for her elderly husband to die, she runs the garden club with an iron fist and spends much of her time engaging in an affair with a younger lover.
  • Cannon will play Dee, Alma's (Allison Tolman) wry and brassy daughter who works as a waitress in a local diner. Though self-deprecating, she can be vulnerable under her emotional armor and finds her illicit affair with a secret lover to be both exciting and humiliating.
  • Christie will play Vern, a tough and rugged private detective. He is intrigued and suspicious when he's hired to investigate Rita's younger lover, whom she suspects is cheating on her.
  • Daddario will play Scooter, Rita's gorgeous, sexy and not-so-bright lover. A charming would-be actor, he is well kept by Rita but pursues a secret relationship elsewhere.
  • Falcón will play Catherine, Carlo Castillo's spinster daughter. Prim and proper, she detests her father's gorgeous wife, Rita, and returns to town after a mysterious accident, seeking a way to destroy her.
AMAZON's BOSCH

  • Vento will play Mickey.
  • Miranda will play Detective Chris Collins.
HBO MAX's GOSSIP GIRL

  • As with all previous casting, no details were immediately released about the character she will be playing.
STARZ's RUN THE WORLD

She has also recurred on Amazon's Bosch, Freeform's Beyond, HBO's Insecure and The CW's Black Lightning.

NBC's ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST
  • Jee Young Han and Felix Mallard have booked recurring roles on the dramedy's upcoming second season. Han has previously recurred on Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet, ABC's Station 19, FOX's Bless the Harts and NBC's Superstore. Mallard recurred on the first season of Netflix's Locke & Key.
  • Han will play Jenna Kang, Emily's (Alice Lee) wild child older sister. An aspiring artist and photographer, she comes to town to "help" Emily and David (Andrew Leeds) with their new baby and only adds to the chaos. Eventually, an unlikely friendship forms between her and Maggie (Mary Steenburgen).
  • Mallard will play Aiden, Zoey's (Jane Levy) next door neighbor growing up. A recent college grad, he's just returned from backpacking around Asia and has moved back in with his parents. He's working at an ice cream shop while trying to launch his garage band. He's a free spirit who lives one day at a time, and he helps Zoey be more adventurous.
HBO MAX's PEACEMAKER
  • Steve Agee will reprise his role from the upcoming Suicide Squad feature film in the upcoming spinoff series starring John Cena. He is a frequent collaborator of James Gunn's, who helmed the film and is shepherding the series. The pair have previously worked together in the feature films Super, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Brightburn.
  • He plays John Economos, the warden of Belle Reve Federal Penitentiary and an aide to Amanda Waller (played in the film by Viola Davis).
