Development News - October 13, 2020

ABC's Triage and CBS' Wilde Things.

  • Michael Ealy has been cast as the male lead on the drama pilot starring Parisa Fitz-Henley. He recently starred in ABC's Stumptown, which was recently un-renewed after previously being picked up for a second season. He previously starred for one season in FOX's The Following, one season in ABC's Secrets and Lies and one season in BET's Being Mary Jane.
  • He will play Nathaniel Price, a brilliant neurosurgeon who is one of Dr. Finley Briar's (Fitz-Henley) closest friends and colleagues with a profound personal connection.
  • Ken Marino, Milan Carter and Juliet Donenfeld have joined the cast of the comedy pilot (formerly known as The Big Bad Wolfes) starring Julie Bowen and Stephanie Koenig. Marino starred for seven seasons in Adult Swim's Childrens Hospital and in the Netflix film franchise The Babysitter. Carter appeared in the Netflix film Dolemite Is My Name. Donenfeld starred in Netflix's one-season comedy The Big Show Show.
  • Marino will play Joe, Frankie's (Bowen) friend-with-benefits who is convinced he's going to be the guy who will finally break through Frankie's walls to be something more. In his job as a news reporter, he is a prime source of information for celebrities who might need her services.
  • Carter will play Lenny, Frankie's offbeat assistant. Cosmically attuned, sexually attracted to people not gender, he also happens to be her AA sponsor. He replaces Jeremy D. Howard, who was originally cast in the role.
  • Donenfeld will play Quinn, a sharp and cautiously hopeful 11-year-old girl with a tough and savvy side that comes from a lifetime of self-protection while moving through the foster-care system.
