Epix Orders 6 Episodes of 1980s Dramedy 'Bridge and Tunnel' Created by and Starring Edward Burns

Epix has today given a series order to the original half-hour dramedy series Bridge and Tunnel created by, starring and to be directed by Edward Burns. Moreover, the premium cable network has set an early 2021 premiere date for the 6-episode season.

The dramedy will premiere on Sunday, January 24.

Set in 1980, the series revolves around a group of recent college grads setting out to pursue their dreams in Manhattan while still clinging to the familiarity of their working-class Long Island home town.

In addition to Burns, the cast includes Sam Vartholomeos, Caitlin Stasey, Gigi Zumbado, JanLuis Castellanos, Brian Muller and Isabella Farrell.

Burns executive produces with Aaron Lubin and Lori Keith Douglas. Epix Productions produces.
